On the Steps Out the Window

On the Steps Out the Window, is a series of 15 photographic artworks that explore the space of my childhood. These are scenes that I saw everyday out of the windows, in the rooms, in the garden and about the surrounding landscape. With this body of work I am asking: how does this geography inform my thinking and my art; the change over time, the evolving culture, how does it make its mark? The answers plot the external and the internal space that surrounded me, both as a nosy child and as a questioning adult.
